Christie Neal, MA, LCMHC is a licensed therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. She is Owner of the Empower You Counseling Center, PLLC, a private practice located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mrs. Neal has committed over twelve years assisting individuals and families in the mental health field, and serves as a practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Her areas of expertise include premarital and couples counseling, Christian counseling, as well as therapy for depression, anxiety, grief/bereavement and loss, blended family and post-traumatic stress disorder. She earned an undergraduate degree from James Madison University and a Master of Arts Degree with Honors in Professional Counseling from South University.
In addition to being a prominent therapist, Mrs. Neal is actively involved in the greater Charlotte-Mecklenburg community and has utilized her expertise in the mental health field to lead and participate in numerous community and volunteer endeavors. She is passionate about making a difference and being a positive impact in the lives of others.
